Alex Gendler explores the epic history of the Kievan Rus, where characters ranging from Viking raiders and Western crusaders to Byzantine missionaries and Mongol hordes all played a role to create a unique civilization standing at the crossroads of culture and geography.

Animated film director, scriptwriter and producer. He is active from 2003 when he was freelancing for different studios, until he started his own studio in 2014. As creative producer he is responsible for developing numerous animated projects of different types, from short films to television projects and feature films.
